Our operatives are trained in applying a variety of commercial standards as directed by our customers when inspecting their products that have failed an AQL audit. The product type can vary from Garments / Footwear / School wear / Accessories and other products such as toys, gift sets and pet clothing.

Measurement Inspection

In line with our client specification and tolerance allowance we will pass or fail a garment, however we will report back if the failure rate is greatly exceeding the AQL percentage so you have the opportunity to commercially review the original specification. Providing it does not go against UK/EU/USA legal requirements such as drawstrings etc.

Incorrect Labelling

We can check for any incorrect content on all types of labels as well as any insecure or missing labels. During the inspection we can over stick or replace if required.

Visual Faults

Be it general manufacturing faults or fabric faults such as thread pulls, holes, slubs, weave faults, shading differences, delamination, oil marks, dirty marks, mould etc. We will identify and work to your commercial standard. Where possible we can provide cleaning, washing or ozone services.

Sewing Faults

Examples such as broken stitching, incorrect positioning of labels, seams not being aligned, loose buttons etc. Where possible we may be able to resolve the fault with the sewing services we offer.

Buttons, Fasteners & Cords

Our operatives inspect to make sure they are secure and identify faulty attachments by carrying out stress tests. We can provide a buttoning service if required (lockstitch buttoning method for childrenswear) and reduce/secure cords to meet the UK/EU/USA Legal standards.

Detailed Reporting

Deans keep their clients up to date via email, informing of any issues we feel need highlighting. Following our clients review changes can be applied where possible. On completion we provide multiple methods of reports, first being a basic good and reject breakdown, second being more individually detailed (reject packing list including exact faults) and thirdly for measurement jobs we would list a thorough breakdown whether it is over, under or difference between. Along with the reports, we also take images of faults which can be provided on request.
